Condobolin High School and Lake Cargelligo Central School commenced a driver training program for students. Three members of the school community: Simon Murphy, Janine Richards and Lindy Moon and three members of Lake Cargelligo Central underwent intensive training in Lake Cargelligo for a Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics-Driver Training.
Both schools have obtained funding allowing each school to gain a brand new Barina car.
Once students have gained their "L's", the driver trainer program will assist students with all aspects of driving and help towards completing the compulsory 120 hours log book driver practice required by the student to undertake to obtain their "P's". The program is aimed at yr 10 and 11 students.
